Bibhuti Shankar Das is the author of the book - Saptarishi, Journey to Earth. This book is inspired from the story of the Matsya Puran. The plot brings out how human ego resulted in a world war that destroyed the planet in the past and how humanity was saved by the great sages of the era. Bibhuti is an IIT graduate and a postgraduate from the University of Texas, has been a software professional for the last eighteen years. He is an avid reader of Hindu mythological texts and epics, which includes Shrimad-Bhagavatam, Vishnu Purana, Rig Veda and Atharva Veda. As a part of book research, he has travelled to many religious and historical places in India and abroad and talked to many knowledgeable people, sages and monks to learn more about the characters of his novel.
