Aanzoomaan Khaleque (Bio Sketch) Aanzoomaan Khaleque is an Author, Entrepreneur and a Competent Management Professional with over a decade experience in Academics, Placement, Research and effective Andragogy training methods for adult learners. She likes to call herself a selectively social individual who isn’t much of a fan of likes and hashtags, but finds comfort in feel good romantic or thriller novels, bollywood movies and happy endings. She is an avid reader and loves experimenting with all kinds of genres. Romance being her favourite, explains the title of her first book, ‘Of Cupcakes and Mud Pies’. Published by Kiwi Books India, it explores the sweet fragrance of love when it brews between a Bollywood superstar and a Gourmet Baker belonging to two different Worlds, but when Cupid strikes, their paths intertwine, and what follows is a clash of mind and heart. She has received the ‘Golden Book Award, 2023’ for her debut novel in the category of ‘Glamour & Romance’. Her second book, ‘Of Roses, Carnations & Marital Chords (Contemporary Love Stories of the Urban Married Couple)’ is a collection of six short stories. Published by Ukiyoto India, it explores the myriad features of modern love among the urban married couples. Her second book has earned her the title of ‘Emerging Author of the Year-Fiction’ by Ukiyoto India. She considers friends to be very important for existence and cherishes them all. In fact, they are an outlet to vent out fears, frustration, the deepest sorrow and help in keeping intact sanity in the most difficult of times. Like for the rest of the World, the pandemic changed a lot of things and brought in new realities, work from home and online schooling being one among them. With a shift in priorities and the kid at home needing care and attention, she decided to take a break from work and try a serious hand at writing. She is an MBA (HR and Marketing) and an M.Phil in Management and has conducted training on Organizational Behaviour, Communication and Soft Skills for Corporate Houses as well as students. Also, she has to her credit a number of published papers and articles in National and International Journals and magazines. Currently, she is associated with her own start-up, a Gifts and Events Partnership Venture. She lives in the city of Guwahati, Assam with her family. Her husband is into Government service and works at the Assam Secretariat and her only daughter studies in the fifth standard, in a reputed school in the city.
